Black History Month Save the Date - February 9, 2025

Congressman Jonathan Jackson, who represents the 1st U.S. Congressional District in Illinois, is the keynote speaker for our 2025 Black History Month celebration. In the wake of the most “consequential” presidential election of the century, Cong. Jackson will address the merit of sustained civic engagement and political activism to advance principles that define our democracy.  The former national spokesperson for the Rainbow PUSH Coalition is the eldest son of iconic civil rights leader the Reverend Jesse L. Jackson Sr.  The program will be held on Sunday, February 9, at 2:00 PM in the sanctuary.  A "Meet & Greet" reception immediately follows. All are encouraged to participate in the celebration and to invite neighbors and friends! Please RSVP by January 31.
